Action Time exports sexy ITV format

In the UK, the show tried to unearth Britain's sexiest builders and teachers; now the search continues across Europe after deals inked by the format's distributor Action Time.

With an international title Nation's Sexiest, the Carlton format has been picked up by Endemol for France, Europroducciones for both Spain and Italy, and Jarowskij for all Scandinavian territories.

Further licences have also gone to Rene Stokvis Productions for Holland and Gil Productions for an Israeli version of the show. All international versions will be produced for broadcast in 2003.

The European deals come soon after a US option going to the Gurin Company.

Devised by Carlton Entertainment, the format involves a nationwide search for the sexiest member of any given profession: as well as builders and teachers, the UK version also had home viewers voting on fitness instructors and doctors.
